Frequently Asked Questions

Which gas should I use with my Leisuregrow Barbecue or Patio Heater products?

We recommend the use of Propane Gas or Patio Gas for all of our gas products to enable year round cooking and entertaining.

Where can I buy Leisuregrow products that I've seen on this website?

Go to the STOCKIST option on the above menu, or click into Premier Partners Stockists on our homepage to find your local leading UK or Irish Leisuregrow stockist.

What's the best way to clean my barbecue?

Use a brass bristle wire barbecue cleaning brush after use to clean your barbecue. For best results follow this by leaving all burners on high for 5-10 minutes. Turn all the burners off, and when the barbecue has cooled down, wipe over with a damp cloth and then coat with cooking oil. Always use a barbecue mitt when cleaning to avoid burning yourself.

What should I do with my outdoor furniture and barbecue in the winter months?

To protect your products from the elements, ideally store in a garage and cover with a Leisuregrow furniture or barbecue cover. This will ensure protection and give your product longevity in use.

What is the difference between direct and indirect cooking?

Direct cooking is where the food is cooked directly onto the grill or griddle of the barbecue. Indirect cooking is done with the lid down, taking direct heat off the food and using only the burners at the sides to heat up the inside area- similar to cooking in an indoor oven.

How should I go about choosing my garden furniture or barbecue?

Look at your needs- do you want to dine outdoors? For how many people? Or do you want comfortable seating and lounging? Leisuregrow have a wide range of dining sets, from bistro sets for 2 people up to 8 seat sets for those needing to cater for more. The Leisuregrow ranges have a wide range of accessories, from sunloungers to swing seats and gliders, so you can choose which seating option you find most comfortable.
